We have our theory on what matters in life. The golden ticket to happiness and fulfillment as they say. It's not money, it's not more time, it's connections. Deep and rich connections with real people. There's something about being part of something. Something larger than yourself, your career or even your own ambitions. The trick is to surround yourself with like minded people who share your passions. Because for some reason when you do that awesome stuff happens. You get better. You have more fun. And you laugh way more. It's a chemical brain thing. As animals, we were programmed to roll in packs and move together as a unit - forward.
During our annual winter pilgrimage south to warmer weather and drier dirt, we finally got to ride with The WolfPack. They are an LA + OC + Southern California based group of dual sport and Moto X riders who share our similar passion for adventure and exploring. To put it in simpler terms - these are some cool dudes. They embody the spirit of work to live and not live to work. Every weekend they are out exploring new trails all around Southern California, welcoming riders both young and old into the fold and documenting the spirit of adventure and riding on Instagram. The WolfPack is less of a group but more of a way of life. Oh - And they make just the most beautiful visual trail maps.
We were super stoked to be able to explore what Southern California has to offer with them. We rode trails out in the San Bernardino mountains ranges and experienced what would be one of the weirdest winters in over 50 years. We're talking temperatures matching that of the Pacific Northwest and even snow that stuck around! But with that, it brought us amazing dirt and hairball situations such as ice patches that had a few guys going sideways. Including a case of Whiskey throttle that threw Michael 3rd gear pinned into a tree. That story however is for another day. We are excited to be flying the WolfPack flag up here in the Pacific Northwest and continuing the WolfPack way of life.
Follow The WolfPack on Instagram and prepare to be jealous.
